More than anything though, Fijians like to be happy and they want you to be happy too. Smiling is second nature to Fijians and their warmth and friendliness is infectious.  Look around – there’s no place on earth like Fiji.

Whether you’re a new visitor or returning, Fiji's 333 islands offer distinct experiences that will entice any traveller. You are warmly invited to cruise, dive, hike, snorkel, fish or just simply enjoy the great physical beauty of Fiji and the warmth of her people.

Fiji is located at the heart of the romantic South Pacific, and has become the crossroad for air and shipping between North America, Australia, New Zealand and Asia. Fiji lies 3,100km northeast of Sydney, 2,100km north of Auckland, and 5,100km southwest of Honolulu and 7,100km southeast of Tokyo.

There are 333 islands in the Fijian archipelago with many of Fiji’s islands home to tropical resorts with pristine white sandy beaches, fabulous coral gardens and azure lagoons. Some islands are also home to traditional Fijian villages still practicing the traditional ceremonies that have been part of the Fijian culture for centuries. Fiji’s two main islands are Viti Levu and Vanua Levu. Viti Levu is the mainland on which Nadi, Suva and the Coral Coast are located.
